Since I have a forklift licence, I can say :
A non forklift driver will rest the load on the tailgate and push it in. And likely fark up any other vehicle he is working with.
A real fork lift driver will pick up 3/4 of the pallet.. And put the whole pallet into the truck without touching the tailgate.
And if anyone thinks a ute tailgate should hold a ton, shouldn't get near a forklift.
