Tesla App order mistake

I've accidentally chosen the wrong CT (age & lack of tech ability) and I'm mid order. I cant find an option to correct my order back to a non foundation series CT. There doesn't seem to be any Tesla chat/phone numbers/people to help with this. Now I'm being told they are going to cancel my order if I don't act. 4 1/2 year wait, and this process isn't smooth.

Anyone have any helpful (and quick) advice before I lose my CT.

What do you mean "mid-order"? If it isn't ordered, then you should be able to close and start again.

I'm at the point of the ordering process on my phone in the app that wants me to pay. There isnt a way to go back to the truck selection at the beginning.

Unfortunately, Tesla is pretty apathetic on this. I have been in a similar situation, I made 2 Model Y orders within minutes of each other by mistake and they didnt want to give a refund.

Prepare yourself mentally, they do not care about their customers and will not likely give you any sort of good will consideration.

I do not know your financial situation, but the path of least resistance is buying the FS. Worst case scenario, you can buy a USED Cybertruck soon and save money. There are lots for sale right now, this doesn't mean you have to miss out on your Cybertruck.

Did you actually get the invite to configure the non-FS version?

You would've had to configure from your app or account on the website.

If you had the invite for non-FS you can always cancel this order and place your order on the reservation. (Might lose your deposit but it's no 20k)

But keep in mind you had to be invited to order non-FS. If you didn't get that invite you can't order non fs

This was going to be my recommendation. They text me when VIN was assigned and I've kept messaging that number since.

Yes Gurule, I got the email to order the non foundation series. When I got to the tesla app I somehow ordered the beast and now I can't go back to select another choice. Not sure how I screwed this up, but I'm awful with tech.

My best results have come from going to a Tesla Service center and speaking with someone live. Unlike the app chat or phone, they can't ignore you and the folks there do seem to try and help.

They also act like they are entitled to your money, but that's a different problem.

Ooooh it's only a beast vs AWD issue?

That's an easy fix with a call to them

I thought it was a foundation vs non foundation issue. Beast non foundation is still non foundation so you should be good to swap
