It's not people math, it's politician math........Same state govt that wont allow direct sales.When I read that story. Some things didn't add up. The fund giving out the money has the name "Volkswagen" attached to it. Tesla gave a bid at 1/5th the cost, but got nothing.
As for VW, they had to pony not just a charging network, but also lump sums to each state for dieselgate,
