I couldn’t tell you that because I took delivery of my sub-200 VIN beast at the end of March ‘24 and still no light bar. Not happy.
I just don’t understand why they’re so bad at this. And why they never seem to be able to create an organized system that can eliminate these unforced errors in the customer on boarding experience. It’s always been bad but it really seems to be getting worse.

You build the damn light bars, you stack them up, count them, distribute them to the service centers get them in place, and then alert owners in chronological order of delivery date to come in for installation. How fucking hard is that?

I got my truck months after you and I’ve had my light bar since November. It’s dumb!

I don’t think Tesla has procured enough Nvidia chips to do the required advanced calculations to put the purchasers in chronological order by service center.

It's all because they don't want to admit that they f-ed up and can't figure out how to solve it, so they're just stalling, waiting for a miracle or until we forget or give up on it. I don't buy the BS reasons they claim for the delay. supply chain issues- BS, we are doing the installs in the order of the truck deliveries. if this were true, that would mean what? That they do 1 install per day nationwide. ok, let's give them the benefit of the doubt, say they only did 1 per day in every service center in the us. I have been waiting for about 9 months since September 15th, 2024, that's 203 days if you don't count Sundays. There are 210 Tesla Service Centers locations in the United States as of April 02, 2025. That would be 42,640 installs at that rate. But I'm sure they have not even made that many total installs. because if they were actually trying to deliver this promise. They could make, say, 10 installs a day per SC, and this was going on way before I got my delivery, so the number of installs they could have made is much higher, 500,000 light bars with so much time gone by?

Did you receive the infamous Email to install the light bar?
If so, please share the Email with us so we know what to look for.
I have had my cyberbeast for over 8 months, and the number of Emails that I have received from Tesla with regards to my cyberbeast. Or Emails that are not replies to an email that I initiated. They are exactly zero. Not even a thank you letter or "your truck update", nothing if I don't ask, they don't say anything.

I got the email that a light bar was available for me in September. I had mine installed in December expecting to have to do The final connections. I went through the control screens and found where I could enable it and to my surprise everything was already hooked up. It doesn’t hurt to try.
Please share that Email with us, we would love to see this elusive creature, never been seen before.

Same here. Been waiting since last August for my Light bar. I reckon the Cant rail replacement recall can be done at the same time...

That's funny how it says, "Your vehicle has been selected to receive the Cybertruck off-road light bar," like there is some sort of sweepstakes or preference selection process. Instead of referencing your delivery date and you are the next owner on the list. No, you were selected among others who have not been selected. I have always had this sense with Tesla that there is some preference going on with delivering good service. like you need to be nice or be last and thats bull shit.

Very excited to have gotten my lightbar installed just a few days ago. Here’s my experience. I tried to make an appointment on the app, it was cancelled and told to wait for an email when available. I instead, went to a service center in person and talked to the service manager who was able to order the bar and complete installation within a week. I had to connect the bar myself ( easy 2 minute job) if you’re used to working on cars and molding. If not, maybe 15 minute then. The following day I drove down to LA freeway speeds. No issues at all, no extra wind noise, no failures. Average speed 70-80 with occasional 90 to pass. Got a chance to turn it on at night. Photos don’t do it justice but it pretty awesome. Controlled from either plugs and accessories or lights tab. You can assist the output same as bed lights. You can choose between ditch, food, or both.

Tesla SC installed mine, but they can't connect the wiring under a panel of some sort...Did you record a video of how to remove the panel and which wires to connect?

Should just be a connector to mate.

Thanks.
I got a quote and it's $300 - no thanks. An authorized Tesla Dealer will not touch it. A body shop I know started examining the inside of the car, considering the removal of various panels.

I got around to looking at this set of instructions and gonna try it me-self.

I think I'll skip disconnecting the MV power - do you have any thoughts on this?

So, taking the cover off, unscrewing a bolt, and removing the B-pillar appliqué, thus exposing the male/female connector. Connect that and reassemble the appliqué.

Don’t you have to connect the three colored wires from the light bar to the ones exposed inside the top right appliqué? If SC connected them then I don’t see why you would disconnect the MV connectors. It would be just the B Pilar connector.

My understanding is that the sc made the wires connections and left male to female. This video is exactly what I need to do.
