I just had Tesla write me up a trade in quote and it came back 75,400! I have 2024 FS with 27500 miles. I’ve had it for exactly two years now and paid 100k for it. I feel like that’s one heck of a deal to just order another one, might upgrade to the beast!

With the S and X gone, there is nothing I would trade my CT in towards. It's a damn shame but unlike so many I have no experienced crazy issues and love the CT experience. In a perfect world I would keep the CT and gotten another Plaid but that's gone.

I had a Model Y (2021) and I know its been improved but still not the quality I would want overall. I love that blue though, looks awesome! Congrats!
Only think I'd ever consider trading in my CT for is a Lucid Gravity. Those things are sexy, but no FSD or off-road capability is a deal killer for me.

Do it! The 2026 Model Y is very refined. YOLO
Going from a unique, innovative, relatively rare vehicle to a mass produced, cookie cutter, mid size family SUV......?

Yeah, I’ll miss it, but….

They offered me WAY more for a trade in, I couldn’t resist. Also, I’ve been waiting for PCS and other fixes for so long that I’d been driving my wife’s 2026 Y AWD Premium more and more and have really enjoyed every moment of that car.

So I looked to see what was available and…

Well the Y Performance is next.

So yeah, I’ll have a few accessories coming off (tsportline light bar, and a few smaller accessories) but the overall experience was ok - the truck was amazing when it was at 100% but has been rather aggravating lately as it is DEFINITELY not anymore.
sorry to hear you had a bad experience w the CT… but glad you are sticking to Tesla…

I have not had any of the CT issues in the 2+ years (knock on wood) that others have had. Dream experience and it’s THE BEST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED (had Mercedeses and Porsches and lots of other brands)

I am going to replace my CT with only one of two other vehicles: another CT OR if they build one - a Tesla Large SUV (3 row)… nothing else.

You did exactly what I’m contemplating of doing. I love my FSCB. For the most part, it’s been a great truck with little to no problems with it. With the exception of the PCS which they’re suppose to be repaired next week. My only concern is it going to last. In this forum there has been posts where had their PCS replace it broke down again. Right now, my CB is under warranty. What if happens again when I’m out of warranty. So, did you request a trade offer on the app? I have done a lot of aftermarket mods. I’m planning not to take them off. It’s a hassle and I really don’t have anywhere to put them and some of the OEM I don’t even have anymore. Like the wheel and tires. You mentioned you planning of taking some of them off. Do you think Tesla will take it, “as is”? Oh I’m sure they’re not going to pay me for them.

It's just me, NOTHING is WAY more to trade in Steer-by-wire and Air Suspension.
I don’t even drive the truck manually anymore. Literally only 20 miles over the last 5300 miles 🤣

I have to agree. I don’t want to give up SBW, AS and FWS. Also, other aspects that my CB offer. I’m just concerned. My instincts were right with Lucid Air when I had it. Anyway, still contemplating it. Weighing the pros and cons.

They just offered me $74k on VIN 0007xx FS. Ordered a new tesla and when the official trade in finally process they lowered it to $65k! Day before delivery. The truck is in fantastic shape and has lower miles on it that what I submitted for online trade in. I told the guy I'm gonna back out of new purchase and keep the CT. They're discussing with trade in team to see why the trade in came back so far under the online quote. Usually it's the same or pretty close.

On a separate note, kina relieved because I don't really want to get rid of it lol.
They did the same to me last year

Thanks for this. The deposit for me was actually $500 this time round. I have it escalated to corporate to try and get it back because they basically bait and switched me. If that doesn’t work I’ll go to the credit card company for sure
