I’d be cautious about relying on the initial estimate. It said it’d give me $8k for my old Highlander and it turned out offering me $3k.

It’s false. Tried my trade in offer for my FS AWD with 12k miles on it that I got in September, and they offered $69,400.

Finally got my offer back today, $72,400 for cyberbeast with 13,000. Bout how much my AMG deprecated the first year. Lol

UPDATE: Tesla just called me and explained about the glitch, updated the $99K trade-in offer to $73K and offered to cancel the order and refund the $250 order fee. Would have been cool, but at least they are handling it right.

I saw some others commenting about this on 𝕏, so I tested it myself with my VIN. Sure enough, Tesla is offering a $99,000 trade-in on the truck I picked up in early May 2024 with 10.5K miles on it. Very tempting to trade it in for literally the same price I bought it for and pickup a Cyberbeast with the Luxe Package

That was a mistake on Tesla’s part. I received the same and then a call from Tesla stating it was an error and my $99k went down to $72k.

Not sure if these are real or Ai, cause I did this trade in request yesterday and got a completely different number. Maybe was a glitch for those claiming unrealistic trade values.

It is, but it didn’t change the value. Submitted one wrapped and one with no wrap and made no difference. Value was the same. Just read in here that Tesla said those values were a glitch. Makes sense now. Thanks for playing
