Wow that ditch light separation is FAR greater than I was expecting! I hope they open up the API to other light manufacturers in the future (because I don't like the design of the Tesla bar)

I just made a service appointment, no indication of having a lightbar for me. I just said I wanted it installed, they contacted back saying it won't be there for my scheduled appointment, and rescheduled it for later this month saying, should have it in by then. I'll update if that day comes around and they have it.

It's affixed to the windshield. You can cover it up on a whim, but that sucker ain't coming off.

100% illegal, even at 1%. It is aimed very high, which is what makes it useful offroad and illegal on-road.

It's mounted too high to be legal (FMVSS 108 specifies 54 inches max height). Even aiming downward would dazzle oncoming traffic at some point.

I'm thinking I'd rather have the cash equivalent than the light bar. Anyone know if they'll give a credit for it if you don't want it? If not, can I take delivery in the box and not have them install it?
