Tesla gets criticism for its service issues but people don’t always post positive feedback. As I sit in the comfortable seat in the customer lounge of one of my local Tesla Service Centers I thought I’d tell this short story.
The appt was for tire puncture large screw in the center of my front left tire. The appointment was for 10:45 but I arrived at 10. This SC has minimal parking and was crowded so I stopped before the actual service portico and went into the service desk. While walking in I had used the Tesla app to confirm my arrival. There was no line and I was greeted immediately and gave them my name.
They confirmed my tire issue and I also described a broken mud flap (off roading in a Costco parking lot) and they agreed to look at that. I have Tesla wheel and tire coverage so a new oem tire is $25. They then told me they would replace the broken mud flap no charge. 90 minutes later the Cybertruck was ready to go and the CS Experience was 10 of 10.
I’ve never had a vehicle service experience at a dealership like that in my life. Tesla has it together and I’m a true brand fan.
Edit; I forgot to mention that they did a free tire rotation as well.
