Except Bitcoin is pretty much a pyramid scheme. So they were right.

FYI,
Bitcoin represents; the largest, most powerful, globally decentralized computer network.
A completely new animal in human history, trustless accountability.

That doesn't really have anything to do with it being used as an asset bubble that is very pyramidal in function. It takes way too much power to operate as a currency.

People who have not seen the Cybertruck in person need to be aware that the truck they revealed is BIG truck. It's not for everyone.
Numerically the body is pretty much identical to a Dodge 2500. Wheelbase is longer because the axles are moved closer to the corners.

In my area, 2WD trucks outnumber the 4WD by easily double.

The Cybertruck can use it's adjustable suspension to squat in the rear. But people won't be side loading it just like they don't side load the most popular truck in America.
Don‘t know why you seem obsessed with arguing about one of the most common ways people use trucks.

I spent the day yesterday doing trail work. The forest manager was there with a bone stock USFS owned F250. Trail tools were all piled into the bed of the truck and he pulled them out over the sidewall. Shovels, rakes, loppers, etc.

Tesla Cybertruck TESLA SHOULD CANCEL THE CYBERTRUCK 1635705127728

There are dozens of companies making tool boxes and bed organizer solutions specific for the F150. The stock bed height is well within reach for most adults.

Work/ productivity is a massive percentage of what sells trucks and having a bed where you just unload it from the back is a tremendous waste of useful space.

This is the truck Tesla is marketing against. And they are planning on selling *all they can make* for years to come. All they can make is 250k/ year or more. To hit that volume, they’ve gotta tap more than just the 4WD off-road community.

I can reach over the sidewall when the truck is squatting. See too…

I sure hope so.

I also think the Sail Pillar storage is going to be a sleeper feature a lot of people absolutely love. It’s been largely ignored, but people spend a lot of money adding similar storage to trucks.

That's not a person reaching into a bed. It's a flat bed and a tool sled from the back. Which the Cybertruck will totally be able to do. And tool cases on the side, which the original design has built into the Cybertruck.

You have a picture of a truck with less cargo space than a Cybertruck, so I'm not sure the argument? We must have those tool cases that get very little use because they're terrible to reach into on a full-sized truck?

But we have a frunk, and wing storage already.

That is not a flat bed. It is a normal F150 with normal height sidewalls and a drawer system in the bottom of the bed. You can see the factory logos on the side. That’s factory height F150. The drawer system absolutely makes it easier to access things in the bed of the truck. And actually that might be a nice way to mitigate this issue with the Cybertruck. If the truck lowers and you raise the floor of the Cybertruck with a drawer system, the truck squatting might be enough to make it accessible.

I just flat out don’t understand this claim that it’s so terrible reaching into the bed of a truck when I’ve done it and seen it done for decades. As I said above, literally saw a friend doing it yesterday.

It has been a big part of how I use a truck for years. Apparently some of us haven’t gotten this memo that we’re doing it wrong.

No one is loading that from the side, Ogre.

No one argued you couldn't reach the top of the sides, just that you couldn't then reach inside.

That box is like the built-in storage the Cybertruck comes with.

I like keeping a medical kit in side storage, unlocked, labeled for my dive buddies or anyone diving had access. (When I had my Avalanche)I wonder if I will be able to keep access unlocked in a similar fashion? I am an edge case.

I'm talking about new truck sales, not all trucks on the road. Most are 4x4 by a large margin. Especially if you exclude the fleet sales. I'm sure you could cherry-pick specific geographic areas that go against the overall average but the nationwide average is what's relevant.

Because it's not one of the most common ways people use full-sized trucks. Yes, in the previous century full-sized trucks were much smaller and we would sometimes side-load if the cargo was not too big or heavy but trucks are much bigger now and that's not typically how trucks are loaded or unloaded.

I spent the day yesterday doing trail work. The forest manager was there with a bone stock USFS owned F250. Trail tools were all piled into the bed of the truck and he pulled them out over the sidewall. Shovels, rakes, loppers, etc.

OK, whatever. I guess the Cybertruck wouldn't have a convenient way to carry shovels and rakes, LOL!

The sail sides will not prevent Tesla from selling increasing volumes every year and eroding Ford and GM's most profitable vehicle sales. Demand will be huge. Watch and see.

I already linked to stats.

No, most trucks on the road are not 4x4.
