Text from Tesla before Texas delivery?

Did anyone get a text message from Tesla explaining the Texas pickup process before their VIN was assigned? I plan to pick it up in Houston-Cypress.

The only text I received from my Plano, TX service center was via the app which also translated to a SMS message. Not sure what other text you're referring to. The pick up process was explained on the app.

I got a text message with this PDF document attached.

I believe this is a newish process Tesla started in May. Someone else has received a similar document. However this documentation did not exist when I took delivery at the Plano, TX SC in April.

Interesting. And there's no correlation to getting this message and when you get your VIN?

I got the same pdf. Followed instructions to the point I could which was set up delivery because I don’t have a VIN yet.

There may be but since I took delivery before this processed started, I am unable to confirm
