I have a old S. Had a 18 S. I had F350 fully loaded. Iv driven a X, Y, 3 lately.
My cybertruck seats are cheap. Uncomfortable compared to X or S seats. I am trying to figure out how to upgrade my seats.

Just shows that it's all a matter of opinion. I think the S/X seats are the worst Tesla makes as far as comfort, then the CT, and then the non-refreshed 3/Y seats. They just have more cushion.

I believe people might underestimate Tesla’s contributions in terms of innovation. The seats might surprise people with their quality. Who knows, we might discover that they are made from recycled materials or something.

Edit: I will take a hose it out model. Maybe it will translate to awd. A minimal farm truck.

I have to really wonder if the material costs are that much lower than the pleather seat covers?
I think the plastic seats they call vegan leather may even be cheaper to make than these cloth ones. Except for the ventilation I would prefer these cloth seats for comfort. Let's face it, Teslas seat are NOT leather, they are pleather and sticky hot when against the skin.

So the ventilated seats in the CT are so anemic you really don't lose much there.

Throw in a pair of aftermarket "leather" seat covers for $250 and are basically back to square one as far as seats go.
I have a 2023 Model S and 2022 Model X and the ventilation is quite good in those seats. I noticed that the ventilation in the seats of the 2025 CT I drove on demo seemed to work very poorly but I was hoping it was just that particular truck. Now I wonder if the 2024 FS CT seats work any better?

2024 seats are just as bad.
Tesla is ok for now because it is cool, but I would assume they are going to have to offer a fix for owners because the "ventilated" seats are pretty much imperceptible.

I tried the ventilated seats on mine yesterday and it worked very well. Felt a cooling sensation even on my lower back.

Mine was built in November 24 (52xxxVIN)

agree with you. the look of the seats are good but no ventilation kills the deal.
Some people like cloth seats because they breathe more than non-ventilated pleather seats. Kind of like the middle ground between the ventilated Cybertruck seats and all the Tesla with non-ventilated pleather.

Yeah, they are a lifesaver in really sticky weather. The secret to making them work better is put the Climate Control on Manual and make sure you have some good A/C airflow coming out of the foot vents. That supplies cool, dry air for the fans in the seats to suck up off the cabin floor.

Ah, good to know it's using the floor vents. This explains why I can just barely hear a fan noise coming from the seat (sounded like near the headrest) when I don't have any music / audio playing.

This would be an good option for a worktruck. People getting in and out with tools in their back pocket.

These will do, you wont stick to them as much as pleather, so cooling is not missed too much.

Good as advice, makes sense. I will try this. Maybe the large volume of space in the cabin and greater distance between the bottom of the seats and the vents, is why the seat ventilation doesn't work as well.
