The thing is they have bashed other Teslas (and evs in general) for years before they bought their CT. So you know they didn’t buy it because they liked Tesla. They bought it so they could validate their viewers’ hate. They get a lot of clicks for playing this role. And it’s a bit disingenuous. They certainly aren’t the only ones who play that game.
I guess I have a different definition of bashing - simply pointing out issues doesn’t equal bashing. I have not seen bashing from TFL towards tesla, you will have to show me where.

I like their content and they are fair in my opinion.

Every pickup truck owner doesn’t need perfectly rectangular shaped bed or spare tire or access from all four sides. SMH!
I was thinking about that following a Caltrans pickup the other day - I had about a half hour to ponder it while we were sitting in the construction zone. It was their bog-standard pickup, but it was up so high that the rails of the bed were as tall as the Cybertruck is at entry height.

There was just no way to reach over the edges into the bed for the majority of men, let alone women.

Well of course they want to appear to be unbiased on the surface. So not 100% of the content is negative. But I stopped giving them clicks 4 years ago or so after watching 2 videos. One of them had a thumbnail caption of something like “Tesla Bricked while charging”. And the “Dad“ can’t recall his name was charging his own tesla and talking to another owner in a nearby stall. The owner explained that he just plugged in and started charging and an OTA update came across and was offered for install. He said “yes” and the installation began. He couldn’t cancel it and was stuck there for 20-30 minutes. The TFL guy decided to call that “bricked“ (which as you know is a serious battery failure or permanent state of broken and a big fear trigger among ev owners. Defintely not a minor inconvenience caused by user error). he went on and on about how horrible of an experience that must have been. The other video was a review of a non tesla …something like a polestar. The theme of the review was how much better it was than a tesla and how quickly it would overtake them. Fine that’s an opinion. But the guest reviewer who was leading much of the commentary was a well known tesla short seller which they did not mention in the vid. He was simply presented as an ev expert. Very shady “journalism” imo.

i tried briefly to locate these, but TFL has a massive history and is now splintered into several different sub channels.

RayzorBAV said "If you are trying to purchase CT or whatever else watching reviews can be helpful, so you can make up your mind. Once you purchased the truck or anything for that matter, reviews no longer matter. Go drive it, use it. Who cares what someone else thinks."

I agree, You do your research, take a test drive and if you like it buy it and enjoy, Other than my wife's opinion I don't care what others think. :)

Exactly! Something similar happened to me yesterday - someone parked a huge F350 with raised suspension next to my Beast. The suspension was so high that my CT looked like a dwarf next to it. I then thought about this post. So many truck owners raise the suspension high and these TFL guys complain about not able to reach all areas of the bed from outside. If this is not a biased opinion, I don’t know what else is!

I like TFL. But hate/negative brings in more clicks. It's just the numbers at this point. Just like their Land Rover videos have high views. New Tacoma breaking down has high views. For some reason, it's what people like to watch. Not sure why the current thinking is hate first.

...And the thing was, it still didn't have as much clearance as the Cybertruck.
