Damn, lighten up Dude. I wasn't complaining. In fact I said I liked the CT. I was just trying to get some friendly feedback from the Forum. Sorry I bothered you.

There are all types in this forum but the majority are very helpful, just like the majority of the commenters answering your questions.

I was a complete newbie regarding Tesla vehicles but was quickly brought up to speed by reading through the posts here, even before the Cybertruck was released for sale.

I've had good results from using the search function here to look for specific answers to questions not covered by Tesla's guides and the operators manual.

Another great source of information is the Cybertruck Service Manual that's used by the Tesla Service Center technicians but available anyone, here: https://service.tesla.com/docs/Cybertruck/ServiceManual/en-us/index.html

Under the Service tab is the manual, searchable. And you can search thru all settings. Sounds like your SC didn't do a great job with new Tesla onboarding.

I think the all caps headline makes you come across as more looking like clickbait and less looking for help. And it doesn’t help that you’re asking for help for things so easily found by just looking at the owners manual (which you should know you can find on your CT’s display). It smacks of a teenager yelling for their Dad to tell them how to spell a word instead of looking it up themselves.

Ok, only had the standard CT for a week and really do love it. Previously had a Defender. Here are my disappointments (unless I'm doing something wrong. I was a lot to get use too with a new vehicle:

1. In my mind, pretty stupid to make you remove hub-caps to add air in tires? Why not an extended air stem or drill small diameter hole in hub covering?

2. No warning chime when going forward or reverse or when someone goes behind vehicle? I have a tight parking space and it takes real care not to hit wall. Am I missing some sort of setting or something?

3. How long do you normally wait for the software for Autopilot? Even my Traffic Light - Stop sign feature not working yet?

4. Is there a Lane Departure Warning somewhere in instructions?

Holy Shit, didn't realize all the sensitive folks on this forum? Belonged to several ownership forums and most used caps for the title of the subject for easier search. I also didn't know that you had to read all the manuals and tutorials before posting. I just got the CT and was looking for some quick friendly feedback (most were). I totally apologize if I offended or bothered you. SO SORRY (in caps).

I will be helpful, I'm passionate about this truck because I love it and I've had many many cars. Sorry to come off in a negative way to a new member. All caps is a trigger for me, ask my team at work. Searches are case-insensitive BTW. Acronyms should be all caps. Drive the truck, new software will come when you least expect it. Park near a good wifi and that helps. And turn on Advanced setting under Software if you want things quicker. They are still GA releases, not daily alpha versions.

Thanks, Nick. Totally appreciate your passion and enthusiasm. I'm a car nut myself (Defender, Hummer, Corvette, Porsche, SSR, Bullit Mustang, etc.) over the years. So far, in the one week of ownership, I do love the CT. At 79 YOA, I am somewhat technically challenged and looking for an easy out using the forum prematurely. Thanks for getting back to me. Had it not been in caps and saying “DISAPPOINTED” but rather “ hey guys just got my truck and had a few questions. It would of been answered with no sarcasm or triggers, I didn’t read my manual but I did learn by searching and on here, you might find some members (including me) that are on guard because this site and I’m sure any other Tesla sites has brought out trolls faking ownership to complain or hate on our trucks so every time I personally see it I think it’s SUS not saying you don’t have a CT I’m just explaining a different point of view . Im the least sensitive person you will ever meet and chose to have fun with most of it and be sarcastic. Im sure it rubs some the wrong way but hey it more fun ?
