Make a service appointment & ignore the date. Drive straight to the service center and they will immediately put you in a longer and install the new PCS & wiring harness, after that it will be good as new, all covered under warranty…. They usually have the parts already in stock because it’s a known issue or overnight shipping, took 1 day to install. I had mine done last week after I got the same error…2024 AWD FS
this, they fixed mine in 2 days

Hi all. Mine failed, too. I just dropped the truck off to get mine replaced because it won't charge. The service tech there told me there is in fact a recall on this that came out 2 weeks ago. So anybody worried about this issue coming up in the future especially once you're out of warranty should probably reach out and see if they can get their truck in under the recall

That was my argument, and they still charged me, they give me a discount thou, from 6k to 1,500.00 but I had to pay. Not happy at all, because this is definately an issue, not normal wear and tear, they might of have known something that they didnt include the PCS in the 150k warranty with the battery and powertrains.
@petercyber see the two posts below. I'd check with your service center. The could at least credit it to future service.

Not exactly the same thing as not being able to charge but still the same components maybe? Most of ours could still drive.

That recall is not for PCS and from another thread, doesn't apply to most of our vehicles including ones that had a failed PCS.
This section talks about PCS failing as an early sign.
Early Signs
If you have 48A charging installed at your home and your Cybertruck is no longer able to charge at 48A (and shows ~24A or less), you are likely experiencing a drive inverter or wider PCS failure. We recommend reaching out to Tesla to schedule an appointment immediately and driving directly to the service center, as your vehicle could get shut down on the road.

The recall affects a limited population of 2,431 Cybertrucks manufactured between November 6, 2023, and July 30, 2024.

Well does your vin qualify? Mine falls within these dates, but isn't one of the 2431 affected.

(I did notice my open cant rail recall is a year old, my how time flies!)

That is an old recall for the drive unit inverters.
There was a mix up and the article was written with the old info.

Thanks @btcrealm but I just saw it was not going to work out. I treated my service advisor like gold, even gifted him from his wishlist when he told me he was getting married. All the communications, were super nice, I've been in sales my entire life and I know that to get a deal you treat your advisors like gold. I did the whole 9 yards, mentioned the forums about this PCS issue being something concerning, etc, even asked to talk to the regional manager but never happened. I just think that Tesla sometimes is set on their own SOP and the advisors they can't do anything. And, sometimes depending on their mood they just screw you. Maybe unconciously it showed that at that point I was very pissed off inside, I just don't know, the first year I went to service like 9 times. I am not a happy camper.

here is not a recall. If there is, find it, and provide proof. I had my truck at the service center form March 11, to march 23rd, 3 days ago. They would not replace my pcs even though I did have a warning on my screen. it still charges fine though. But im vin in the 5000's, and I specifically asked about a pcs recall, even showed them this forum. There is no recall. you can go to teslas website, enter your vin, and it will show you all the recalls. There is not one for the PCS.
