Even after years of reading this forum, here are some things that I still did not know as a new EV & CT owner.
The truck does not have a USB charger in front seat. It has one outlet plug in the console and also on the back of the console. It also has two type C chargers on the back of the console.
The white color on the dashboard and the doors is actually a suede type material. For years I was under the impression that it was stainless & wrapped white.
The phone holder dock is not the best place to put your iPhone. I knew that the phone would overheat, but I guess I had to learn from myself.
The A pillar does not block as much of the view as the internet would lead you to believe.
It’s true, very true & very unsafe that people will run you off the road trying to look at your truck or even what’s on your screen.
There is a thin horizontal cab light located above the console, in the headliner - it has touch sensors to turn on at night - not actual buttons.
I did not know that I would be using a swiffer jet mop to clean the inside of my truck windshield. Long handle comes in handy.
My defensive driving & spatial awareness is at an all-time high, because people will drift uncomfortably close to your car and very high speeds just to take a picture
At night:
The high beams are auto dimming.
Almost as if they roll down and roll back up. This is probably an existing Tesla standard, but since this was my first EV, I was still unaware. Pleasantly surprised.
Move the visors to the sides for great windshield views ahead.
Other peoples fingerprints, really bother me. I thought that I could deal with this but now I’m seeing a therapist. (Not really) - I am really thinking about making a sign for the dashboard that says pictures OK but don’t touch.
I have opened my tonneau cover 10 times more than I needed to just for show and tell.
The drivers steering Squircle has buttons & also images that are not buttons.
When in active cruise control and driving around a two lane curve, The truck sensors may slow you down abruptly because of oncoming vehicles and scare your britches off.
Finally, activate those two black key cards that come with your CT for additional access in the doors.
So, if you are still waiting for your delivery, and did not know these little tid bits, I’m glad I could help.
