Touchscreen is an interesting innovation but I've broken cellphone screens multiple times. Is there voice
or manual override in the event of malfunction or do I call Elon for an Uber?

As far as I know, almost all screen functions on the Tesla can be controlled with voice commands. Even on the new Model S Plaid, there are still physical buttons near the phone chargers you can press to swtich between park, drive, and reverse.

No one should be stranded if their screen brakes, but you would just have to be more careful in the Model 3, Y and Cybertruck since without that screen you can't see your speed.

That screen is a bit too much for me. Both the size and location. I wonder if there were more female designers, would we still have this ridiculous mine is bigger race. I am generally OK with the screen on the wheel but if car is parked with the wheel in an angle and you want to look at something, you may develop a neck problem.

A perfect setup for me would be a medium size landscape integrated (not an iPad sticking out) screen right over the Yoke (or a good heads-up display). It would stitch rear view image to right and left camera to cover everything I don’t see in front in one shot. This location is ideal because I wear reading glasses and can keep them on lower on my nose and stay functional. The traditional rear view spot for a screen would break my neck.

This screen could change or add other cameras for, parking, off roading and towing. Mirror images could be on all the time but anything else on center screen should only come on with touch, look, voice (with minimal latency to come on) to minimize distraction and battery use. In fact any communication with CT should be with voice when truck is moving. Display should be backup.

I would not want any gaming or entertainment. Our screens are already separating us from our surroundings too much. We need to relearn how to get bored. If I don’t have the option to consume information who knows, I may be forced to produce something instead or get off my ass and move. After driving for 3 hours, if you stop at a supercharger, do you really want to stay on the same seat and play a game on your screen? You may not have a screen problem but the fact that I am sitting and typing this right now is an indication that I do and I just don’t need more excuses to make it worse. Then again, this is the point of view of someone that does not drive much and did not order FSD. I am sure there are ton of folks that see it differently (as Elon does).

This is from a chineese EV startup, but just look at that dashboard...it would be bad ass in the CT. Honestly this 48" display makes the CT 17" display look cheap.

It looks nice, but is it really functional. What if the information you REALLY need is way over in front of the passenger seat, yet you're driving alone. How functional is that? Keeping it smaller, also serves to keep all information and "buttons" within an area. Just a thought...

Tesla, please build the Cybertruck with the minimalist interior as shown on the concept truck. Optional dashboard colors would be nice though. Oh, and keep the butterfly steering wheel.

PLAID Cybertruck implies PLAID seats are not an option - they are standard with PLAID CT.

Elon in Cybertruck launch stated that the Cybertruck would have a mode above Ludicrous. So that be PLAID? But why waste CF on a truck…really. So not expecting 1:1 PLAID MS== PLAID CT

Which sets up rubber floor mat minimalist interior shown at CT launch. And I would expect an upgrade for the minimalist from pleather-ette to cow leather ‘cuz Elon ain’t about fake.

There stands the Options 1,2,3 — PLAID, COW, pleather-ette

I don't want such a large display in my truck. Fine for the house.

HUD display would be nice. Either windshield projection or small screen.

Otherwise, minimalistic with tucked away storage compartments. Hoping interior feels roomy and not overstuffed.

Don’t tempt Elon with Boeing pornography, its disruption waiting to happen.
Have you guys seen the Starship monitors? Very minimalist. I think the chances of an over the top set of monitors in a Tesla is so low it isn't worth more bandwidth. CMS for side views s a different matter.
