When you consider how much you save on maintenance versus an ICE car, it is not even close. Rotating the tires is basically the only maintenance required on these things!

Discount Tires provide tire rotation and balancing for free on all Teslas, including Cybertruck. I just had mine done last week.

Just hit 10K miles on my Cybertruck and discovered something wild: Regular tire shops WON'T touch CT tire rotations. Costco? No. Firestone? Nope. PepBoys? Also refusing.Tesla's solution? They'll do it for $295. Yes, you read that right—nearly $300 for a basic tire rotation that typically costs $20-50 elsewhere.
It's pointing to a bigger challenge for CT owners: specialized service requirements that limit our options and drive up maintenance costs.

? Question for CT owners: Have you found alternative solutions? Local shops willing to work on the truck?

If you're considering a CT purchase, factor this in: Standard maintenance might not be so standard. Basic services could require Tesla service center visits at premium prices.

Thanks!
Tesla just rotated mine for $65. My CT has 10k miles and this is the second rotation. The 1st a local shop did them for free

Tesla service quotes are automated and often over charge. App tried to charge me for warranty service.

Problem is you can't contact anyone - and messaging through the app is half assed.

Wanted to charge us for window adjustments. Service tech said they are not a warranty item after one year. WTF? Same window is hissing again after just a few months. Will go ballistic if they want to charge me.

In my area (Twin Cities), service is 3 to 4 weeks out even for simple things like putting on snow tires. So I bring any non warranty work to other shops.

It is easier to just rotate tires yourself than to deal with getting an appointment, showing up, waiting, etc.
