Anyone run into tire shops that don’t want to deal with Cybertruck tires?
Took my Foundation Series to Discount Tire today after my left rear was down over 10 pounds. They found a small screw in the tread but really didn’t want to take care of it. Said they’d never worked with a Cybertruck tire before and that Tesla tires are “different.” Also said they doubted they could repair the tire and that I would have to leave the truck with them several days while they tried to order a new tire …. If they could find one.
I got the hint: they did not want to deal with it. Surprised me because I’ve bought tires for all my vehicles from Discount for more than 30 years, and there was never a challenge they weren’t happy to handle.
Took it to the Tesla service center, they got me in right away and said it was an easy repair.
