As an update, just got off the phone with Tesla about the Cybertruck.

I was told it’s awaiting transport now and should be picked up within the next 4 days, she said I should have it by the end of the month depending how fast things move along!

Or at least open the doors & look in & sit. I also just missed being able to get inside the one in the showroom in Franklin. I physically saw it there then it was moved to Knoxville before I could get inside the truck, if they did in fact allow it.
I completely understand that you have been waiting & waiting so go out and enjoy the heck out of it. If you feel inclined later I’d love to get a better feel for it in person. I live in Sewanee, TN. Will do! I'm going to attempt to call the delivery center once they open this morning. If I can't reach someone- I might ask my wife to drive over and speak to someone in person (I'm traveling currently).

I spoke with the Franklin Service Center this morning. Our truck is actually there in the batch of 7 or so they received. They are doing QC on the trucks, and correcting any imperfections, and ordering replacement parts as needed, etc.

They plan to start calling everyone whose truck has been received starting Monday, and they’re planning a delivery event next weekend to make a big show of things. They said if you wanted a low key delivery without all of the hoopla you could choose that as well, but sounds like they’re wanting to make the first round of deliveries a fun event for everyone.

As much as I’d like to have the truck now knowing it’s been received by the service center, I can appreciate them wanting to make sure everything is perfect.

After almost 5 years of waiting, I think I can survive 7 more days ?

New Nashville/Franklin, TN intel:
Wife just stopped by the service center in Franklin, TN and spoke to a very helpful rep. There are 7 trucks still out front, and "many" more in the back. Plus another carrier is en route with even more Cybertrucks.

According to the rep, if you currently have a VIN you can expect to take delivery either at the delivery event next weekend, or a second delivery event they are working on- most likely the following weekend.

Looks like the VINs out front range from the high 2xxx to high 3xxx and have manufacture dates ranging from February 29, to as recently as March 12.
