ICE people don't realize that... If you travel 3 weeks or of the year and work the rest... Assuming you fill up once a week that's 49 trips to fill up you're not wasting time on.
and the time spent at service station for oil change, brake pads, and million other things.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It definitely gives more data points to others who plan to do this in the future.

Right there with you! My son and I restored a 89 D150 with a 318 and it only gets about 11mpg on a good day downhill with a tailwind breeze with the engine off in nuetral.

No worries...I was just saying that. I didn't think you were implying anything.;) I hear folks on every platform complain about long range towing. It's definitely more time consuming but much less stressful. If you don't care about arriving on a long trip exhausted and cannon ball running every time this aint your rig...but if you like to arrive relaxed this is your rig. I had zero wagging and getting through parking lots with the all wheel steering is a game changer. Tesla really needs to put a software update out to give preferred charger assignment to people towing for pull in stations. I'm sure they can do that with the new v4 cabinets. We had to ask two people if they could move so we didn't have to unhitch. They were nice but if the app told them first we wouldn't have to ask and they wouldn't have to move.
It would be cool if the Tesla software flashed the recommended charge stall on the center screen when you got within a minute of a Supercharger. It could take into account which stalls are best reserved for a trailer, how many trailers en-route to the Supercharger, which stalls share power with each other (if any), who is due to leave shortly, etc.

It could be an aerial graphic representation of the Supercharger station with the recommended stall(s) pulsing with a green glow, the rest of the stalls could be red (or shown as occupied to help you decipher which stall is highlighted).

Thanks. I thought about making an extremely detailed data log but
