I don't disagree. My comment was for those for whom a Model S can replace the truck.It can be wasteful to have a truck as your daily driver. But, part of my reasoning for wanting the Cybertruck was that with it being an EV it wouldn't be nearly as wasteful. Then add in having solar at my house makes it even better.
Personally I could use a truck with lockable bed to replace my E250 van (which isn't a daily driver). But also I'm hoping to get rid of the Avalon (daily driver) also.
A truck can replace a car and more. As a daily driver, yes a truck is usually more wasteful in terms of energy to drive vs. a car. But it's arguably better than having multiple cars for one person at the same time which is usually a waste of money and probably a waste of manufacturing resources, though arguably more environmentally friendly...(maybe, lots of variables).
