hahahaha what a clown.
Is my information perfect? No.

Do I often know enough to know when you don’t know? Yes.

"they didn't build 100"
the time you were saying this on xwitter, no, they had not.

"the release candidates will never be on public roads"
That wasn’t the quote, but attention to detail is sometimes not your strong suit.

I said most all of them will “never see public roads” in the sense that they won’t be used past their validation test purposes. This is still true.

Throw this on your very very lengthy track record of being completely wrong.
Happy for you to bring your receipts on these. Try to admit when I’m wrong. (Just did today on your xwitter thread.)

Often, though, you seem prone to confusion.

Tell me, just this...... have you still ever even seen a Cybertruck in person yet, even covered? 🫣
Glad you closed with this.

No, I haven’t.

Unsure why that’s relevant.

At the end of the day, here’s the thing:

I only care when think someone is knowingly/unknowingly misleading people about things that will lead to unnecessary disappointment.

It gets a lot of impressions and Musk-bucks, but more than that - creates confusion and frustration.

Ever notice it is harder to support others on a forum then to knock others down? Says a lot about the human condition.

It is a great forum and we all have a place in it.

Peace out my fellow Cybertruck fam

Anyone concerned about alleged white dash within CT environment? Glare city…? Any thoughts or experience?
folks with white interiors currently could tell you. CT shouldn’t be any different.

some might conjecture that a truck with white trim seems dodgy, but I’ve always heard the Tesla white is surprisingly robust - and lots of trucks have interior textiles/colors that at first seem incongruent with a muddy job site. Seem to do fine.

I for one know with a white interior M3P, that the sidemirrors are completely useless in the sun for a 6'6 driver. All I see is the reflection of white dash in both mirrors. I'm hoping that's not the case with the CT, and if it is removing the mirrors and using the cameras instead is a viable and useful option.

I dunno if I would have a white interior on a "work truck" but I suppose I'd use seat covers for work regardless, or at least throw a towel over if I'm dirty.

Overall white performs better for cabin heat rejection and uses less power for air conditioning though.

White will glare onto the windscreen.

OTOH, darker colors absorb heat.

Can I get “striped”?
Watch out, people gonna walk all over your dashboard at stop lights.

This thread from today shows 4 cybertrucks departing from GFTX - but an observation about this photo seemed to justify a new thread (mods feel free to collapse of course)

note anything new with two of these CTs?

The front and rear units are the first release candidates we’ve seen with white trim/dash:

all other of the RC units seen to date have had black/grey trim throughout, and I’m *pretty* confident all of those RCs are dual motor variants.

For the last week+ there’s been a slow-down in the GFTX lot and transport sitings, indicating some shift on the validation line.

Today, after that dry spell, this transport is now seen with two units having white trim interiors.

I’m *pretty* confident the dry spell was some stutter in the validation line’s transition to the first tri-motor builds, with at least two of the tri-motor builds getting out today - surely heading to Fremont etc for validation of various sorts.

FYI, the last times we’ve seen builds with white interior were beta prototype seen at investor day, cyber roundup, lithium refinery, etc

The 'Dark Invader' interior is KOOL. Perhaps a little monochromatic for the majority of New Age Truckers!
The white door card tops and lower dash section break the heaviness of the interior.
It is possible there are two styles of interior......one of them is probably NOT all white! imo

The differential colours from Zebras is to promote local air flow and with it the convection of heat off the skin, to cool the animals in a hot African sun. :geek:🦓
To help 'SPOT' wildlife under a blazing Australian Sun out on the highway , we could paint our Kangaroos Black 'n White. Easier to 'Hop, Skip and Jump' in a SpaceX Pack CYBERTRUCK.

I know Tesla wants to keeep production costs down, but I’d love a tri-motor with the driver display. Obviously we don’t notice any here and haven’t seen any since that Alpha about a year ago. I know it’s a pipe dream, but a brotha can dream, can’t he?!

They’ve cut the price so much on the Model S, I’m debating on purchasing that instead. However, I really want pickup.
I have the same dilemma as you. The model S is very tantalizing as the price is affordable now but I don't want to miss the CT craze.

I’m roughly 167,000 in line. Which puts me at about a year out. COVid and everything screwed this up. I gave my son my truck. Wife is waiting on a 2023 or 2024 Seqouia TRD Pro. I have a work car, but I’m tired of sharing the wife’s. Been waiting for this cyber forever.

So getting a new car and not waiting a year sounds nice. Especially a catch like that Model S for that price.
I thought I was the only one thinking about the model S as its price is so inviting. My order is in the 280,000 bracket and I'm gonna be 80 next year.

More than a few people seem to be considering the Model S over the Cybertruck now with the new Model S pricing. I find this interesting because I've never considered any car over any truck. They serve two different purposes. Yes a truck could serve both purposes, but you either need a truck or you don't and if you don't then why spend the money for one? It seems wasteful on multiple levels.

It can be wasteful to have a truck as your daily driver. But, part of my reasoning for wanting the Cybertruck was that with it being an EV it wouldn't be nearly as wasteful. Then add in having solar at my house makes it even better.
Personally I could use a truck with lockable bed to replace my E250 van (which isn't a daily driver). But also I'm hoping to get rid of the Avalon (daily driver) also.
