I want my car to be quick and have decent range. I am really looking forward to change my FS dual motor order to FS Cyberbeast if somebody can confirm the average range figures. Unfortunately there are not many CB’s out there to confirm it

Cool. I think the EV manufactures have to keep in mind that one of the things ICE anticipate missing the most is the sound of their ice cars. Tuning EVs to create exciting sounds is a great idea. One of my neighbours has that high-end Audi EV (I think the RS GT?) and it sounds amazing.

Are most Tesla owners too used to the other Tesla models that have a significantly quieter motor whine. Lol, just joking. AWD does make a similar noise its just quieter though so you are in luck.

Yes. Not joking. All these years I've loved how my 2013 P85 just zooms with zero fuss. It's a major part of the joy. I have so much wanted a truck to do that.

The electric motor sound is noticeable but not annoying at all but what is amazing is when a Harley Davidson is next to me I can barely hear it. Love this TRUCK!!!!

This clip from the Cyberbeast vs lambo race highlights the Cyberbeast sound imo and is one of the best ones with the sound. I’m not sure if the production cyberbeasts have the humming as this pre-production one does though.

And also here are a few other cool clips from the Cybertruck vs hummer ev with the distinct Cyberbeast motor whining and humming. I’m not sure if the production Cyberbeast makes the humming noise, the Cyberbeast in this video is pre-production vehicle. The Hummer motor whine also sounds similar to the cyberbeast’s interestingly! Also, I screen recorded these videos on my phone so that is why there is black on top and bottom. I should have cropped the black out before uploading so sorry about that.

But anyways I wonder if the production Cyberbeast also makes the humming noise. One person did some acceleration and towing videos of his Cyberbeast on youtube and it did not seem to make any humming noise. If Sahm does more pov driving videos of the Cyberbeast's motor sounds I'll be able to confirm if it does or not.

I agree it isn't annoying to me either. In video reviews when they raced Cyberbeast against ICE sometimes I could barely hear it too.

You're welcome CyberJet! I am getting the vehicle wrapped right now but when I get it back I will take some more footage of the sound.

I just did a 350~ mile roadtrip. I don't have my vehicle handy at the moment to give you accurate KWH figures, but simple math would put my range for the trip at 228 miles at a 90% SOC (285mi displayed). Bear in mind that average speed was 74 MPH and the vehicle stayed in "Beast" mode, so definitely on the higher end of energy consumption. When I drove the vehicle commuting to work in the last week along a slower path, range felt much more accurate.
