Trunk tailgate / liftgate alignment adjustment?

Does anyone on here know how to adjust the liftgate.

The left side is a little misaligned so that it does not come in contact with the tonneau cover, hence it leaks.

The area highlighted in red is where it does not touch, so I would love to be able to adjust myself versus driving back to the service center.

I would schedule a SC appointment to fix the alignment issues.

Yep, I second taking it back to the SC. They may fix it on the spot depending on the SC.

I imagine it's fairly easy. You might check out the CT service manual for the adjustment procedure.

Symptom of the tonneau cover needing calibrated as well. You can run it from the service menu or do it manually as described in the owners manual. It will recalibrate the upper and lower limits and probably close that gap. I agree it still looks a little misaligned but this will help some.

Did you ever sort this out? It's only now started to bug me after 16k miles. The actual mounting points to the casting and the striker don't seem to have any adjustment. I haven't dove into anything regarding the electronic latch but it doesn't appear to have adjustment either.

Yes, I took it in and they were able to adjust. Everything is now flush and no longer leaks in that area.
