Turning on Low Power Mode Remotely

It’s been slightly over 24 hrs since i posted this thread. After Hemiarch (thanks again, man) showed me how to remotely turn on low power mode, I haven’t lost one mile of range. My truck had dropped from 79 to 78 while I was trying to figure out how to access the low power toggle button.

So what’s the real world use of the sentry on/off shortcut?

when off at home I can turn it on and view the cameras. good when the mountain lions, bears, and foxes are hanging out in yard.

But you still have to open the security and drivers menu and hit view live camera to see it right?
And if you’re doing that anyway how does toggling on and off make the process faster?
I’m just trying to triage which of the shortcut keys are most valuable to keep up there.
Here is where my current setup is but I’m refining so open to suggestions

I park by patient drop off and/or entrance to my ar my clinic locations so I typically get a lot of sentry alerts. CT defaults on, which I like, so it’s handy to have a shortcut to turn it off. I typically forget to deactivate prior to leaving vehicle.

Another was power consumption when I first got the truck, sentry used a fair amount throughout the day that I thought was excessive. I feel like sentry link uses less power now but I have not looked into it.

Deactivating sentry link in app requires 3-5 button taps that is reduced to 1.

Now I have a question for you, if you push on the middle of your tailgate when it is closed is it solid or does it have a little give followed by contact with the subframe underneath? I remember it being solid.

I have no clue why it’s dropping so much. Like I said, I turned everything off that I could think of. I have a Starlink mini plugged in but the outlets are powered off. It’s never done this.

Look at your wnergy/park tab, should show you who is using what…
