I use the phone mount on my MYP for Waze. If Tesla ever gets around to implementing an app store we will have all sorts of apps available and won't need third party phone holders.

I've never felt the need to mount my phone. What are people doing w/ their phones such that they want the mounted for easy view/access?
An alternative mapping app like Waze that provides lots of traffic and incident awareness would be one thing even a cautious person would have a legitimate reason to look at while driving to use. There might be others.

He said “plastic nut will tighten on the back.”

If it was me and it still wiggled, I’d get a black latex (not Mylar) balloon, cut off a bit off it and wrap that over the ball before putting the MagSafe charger on. That should provide more friction without using anything gooey. Trim excess (before connecting wire just to be safe) with scissors if you’re a neat freak.

@T Sportline I love your product. However, I have an Android phone. There are magsafe adapters and cases for Android phones to utilize certain magsafe chargers. If I was to get one of these adapters or cases, do you think my Android will work with it?

@T Sportline is the tightness of rotating ball that holds to the wireless charger adjustable? My previous chargers of this similar ball/joint type often changes the phone's viewing angle when going over bumps on the road.
yes, tighten the nut once aligned how you like.

Awesome, I will order the magsafe charger unit then. If it doesn't work, I assume you will allow me to return it?
