Thanks for taking the time to share with us...I think the training speeding by while the CT is static is a unique perspective.

When something like that happens, you have to press the button to 'save' what the car saw. If it's something really important, you would want to take the USB out and save file to your computer

Really great shots! I would love to have these kinds of shots for my truck. I've never been a "car guy" but I would literally hang pictures of the CT on my walls if my wife would let me.

So you can record any moment after it happens by either, tapping the camera icon at the bottom of the screen, that has a red dot(two camera icons, one opens the viewer, the other saves the last 5 minutes of video.), The other way is just honking the horn, settings under Safety, but should be on by default. If your memory card is big enough, and you haven't driven too far, you can open the viewer, go to dash cam, and find the date and time it happened, and then please post the video here.

Make sure it’s a high speed thumb drive, I had one advertised online as high speed, but when looking at t the videos, they were all garbled and lacking in detail.
the drive will write over itself when full, expect for the videos you save. I ended up p getting one that has a usb c on one side and USB A on the other. Then I could plug it right into my iPhone and get the videos I needed off of it.
