So long you get a version where it tucks behind the tailgate and doesn't poke the wheel over the top edge.
not sure how they BOTH avoid the rear camera AND don’t obscure the brake light from many angles

Fugley, yet laughably revolting.

Instead of those, the money would be better spent on some more sensible, like clothes for kittens or Chia Pets.

Aren't all Founder Series Cybertruck owners affluent with unlimited disposable income?

Wish they kept the og design, but made it wider. All those new angles doesn't look too good to me. Also, carbon fiber on a 6,000 lb truck doesn't fit. I would go with a dark metal fenders instead. Kind of like how they accent a stainless steel refrigerator.
yep! I said in another post that dark patina copper or bronze would be out of this world.

All I want from them is the swing arm wheel carrier. Not even the whole rear kit. Just the wheel carrier. Nothing more, nothing less.
like this?

the angles are the problem that means they can’t do the OG design

the bumpers aren’t wider, so to have the fender flare start at the bumper line means the top of the flare has to ‘lean’ way out

at which point, if you continue that leaned angle upward to the SS panel, it would reach way up the panel

in short, unless/until you build matching bumpers that are as wide as the flare you want, the OG flare design isn’t possible

Maybe it's needed to make it stick, but I was talking about this pyramid thing. now looking at it, the wider fender is a difficult piece to deign to make it look good. Can't wait to see other designs and concepts from others.

yea I know

and I’m saying that triangle design is a consequence of what I described above

they had to either do something like that triangle, or instead some equally ugly ‘shelf’ parallel to ground, to make the flare angles flange with the body

point was, they can’t replicate the OG fender design because the truck doesn’t also have the OG bumper design to match a wider flare.

so they can only make the flare wider at the top not the bottom (or else it won’t flange up with the bumper), which means leaning the top of the flare way out from the body (blue line) - creating a need for the triangle etc (yellow lines), or else the main fender flare slope would just extend way up the body (red line) before meeting the SS

Would be easier to explain with a side on view down the side of the truck

PS nobody’s mentioned that these flares are $3,000 🤣

I wonder how it would look if the leading edge of the triangle cap segment was shorter than the trailing edge? So that it echoed the proportions of the cab and sail panels.
