Yep agreed, Autopilot/Autosteer has been my fave feature for long roadtrips. Just did 10 hrs UT-CA yesterday and sorely missed basic TACC+Autosteer
We should all tweet at Musk, at Tesla, or at Cybertruck like once a week and let them know how enthusiastically we want it! Or we can write them an email but I'm not sure how much weight that carries versus an annoying trickle of social media mentions lol

Another thing I realized is the rocker panel/ rear tire “mud guards” look different.

I'd give a gentle tap with rubber mallet, that should pop it back in line.

Why would that matter to them? they already have our money. They are still selling every truck they are making with or without autosteer. Unless people stopped buying trucks they wouldn't change a single thing on their development schedule. Nothing we can do would ever influence autosteer timing.

Already tried it, the tabs are completely bent/ broken.
Part was on back order for a month. Should be coming in this week.
SA is replacing it for free because they had so many issues fixing my truck. Not the truck side issues, just SA being shit at planning and execution.

I'm curious if medium ride height would have been smoother in the whoops with Baja on.
My guess is that it would have been smoother as there is increased travel as demonstrated here.

I would love to see a spreadsheet with clearances for all of the selectable ride heights.

I've seen that too! I realized after watching it he might get more articulation if he selected rock crawl mode because that links the air suspension together and afaik no other mode does this.

Seems like the suspension for CT in general is always best tuned for medium unless you really need the clearance to get over things. Low is useful for cornering but will be harsher otherwise it seems.

Awesome review. So good to finally see them having fun with the Cybertruck, instead of being overly critical about everything.

The rock crawl looked better with the CT.

Also I'm surprised they didn't talk about the tires on each vehicle. How can you even publish an off road review / comparison if the trucks use different tires, and those differences aren't even mentioned?

The locking diffs and off road modes look really good. Hope they are released soon.
These dudes were pretty obviously clueless about off roading so you can’t expect too much. It was more of a test not a review and probably stage managed with company publicists.

Probably, but even in the high suspension mode it was looking a lot smoother than the Rivian which was bouncing around like a pogo stick. The Rivian's suspension is way under-damped for such uses, the Cybertruck handled it like a champ.
