Update to steering?

I know they said they were adding more feedback to the wheel for the last update, but mine suddenly is a lot harder to crank. Does anyone else feel this? It is super noticeable on a tight on-ramp for my commute. Last week it was amazing feeling the power of steer by wire, just turning sharp no problems, now I have to fight the dang thing with two hands (exaggeration, but it isn't comfortable with the few fingers I normally use).

Has anyone else stopped using FSD long enough to notice it, or do I have to schedule a service call?

I wonder if this is more pronounced in AWD‘s versus CB’s or maybe I’m just ham handed. I didn’t notice it in the loaner that I had the last couple of days (was an AWD) and I do not notice it in my CB.

I have noticed using the steering wheel to disengage. FSD seems to be a little stronger. Does anyone else have this problem?

I requested on x @Cybertruck and Tesla for them to make the input optional, do the same if we get enough attention the devs might update

Steering is noticeably heavier after update. Used to feel light and nimble—-could steer with one finger—-want it back the to the original feel—-felt lighter than model 3–now feels like a truck

Definitely heavier steering since update. Took a couple of one hour drives and noticed my thumb was more tired than normal

I would check the truck's hydraulic steering fluid levels but...

Beast owner here- Definitely feel like I have to move the wheel more now. More like a regular truck. Find myself have to go full crank sometime on right hand turns … never did b4. I particularly notice it because of a disability I have.

Problem is I bought this because it didn’t want a regular truck. Love the steer by wire.

Would love option to go back. Not sure what they were trying to solve here .

Hmm my Beast is fine steering feels same certainly not worse. Just driving 35-55 on divided hwy, no off road.

Mine is most noticeable in slow steering situations like pulling out of the driveway or making a sharp right hand turn from a stop sign. On the highway I can’t say I tell too much of a difference.

Definitely some more effort to turn the steering wheel in my CB, which is set on Standard steering. I would like for this to be an adjustable setting to suit one's preference. I don't mind the heavier feel.

Steering is awesome, no comparison to my F-150. I keep the setting on "Focused".
