I don’t feel nearly that much change.
I just played beach buggy racing and you can really feel the difference there.

So my truck happened to be in service when this update became available. Normally I update as soon as I see it. Would you guys hold off on installing this update from your experience with it? As a side note, I am a fan of the steering as-is without any road feedback or whatever. Let me know what you think. Thanks
You would not get any future updates to keep the steering as it is now?

The updates are cumulative. Unless they add an option to turn off the road feel or reduce it in the future, which the interactions with Wes on Twitter aren't signaling that owners are even upset with the changes, this will be in all future updates as well.

No i would, I would just hold off a little until they work out the kinks. Reaction seemed to be mixed, some weren't bothered others aren't fans. I'm sure they will make tweaks to it, maybe even an on/off button.

This has been my experience as well. I see it talked about all over the place so I figure it's the norm. Are people saying this doesn't happen to them?
I'm far from an expert but I DID just take a trip from Georgia to Maryland without touching the wheel. Well, almost never. It does pretty good in my Beast.

Just installed 25.8.6, FSD remains 13.2.8
To me the feeling of the steering wheel feels the same as after 25.8.4 Not as light as it was before that. I am no fan of it, liked the no-feedback feel better.

From a previous post, it's apparently supposed to feel different on slippery or poor traction surfaces (rather than merely bumpy ones). So that sounds reasonable.

You can also feel it by being in park and just turning the wheel. First time after update that was my first action and immediately got a front motor disabled ok to drive warning but was told that was a software glitch fixed remotely

I do not like the new steering feedback I prefer the og feel less feedback please make this optional in an update
I noticed on 25.8.6, while driving on the freeway at 65 mph the steering wheel feels like it’s got a vibrator or electric toothbrush in it. The high frequency vibrations are annoying and make my hands numb.
