Tesla Cybertruck Upgraded my 2024 to 2026 Cybertruck AWD Premium (39xxx to 93xxx) - differences / comparison review IMG_5904

Wasn’t the PCS after all. Fingers crossed the issue doesn’t arise again given that they didn’t actually replace anything. Regardless, I’m excited to get my truck back soon 👍

Thanks for the update. Encouraging that it wasn’t the PCS.
Sounds like a loose connection.

Same here. losing free FSD forever really makes it a deal breaker… but I’m also worried about my PCS which hasn’t failed but I’m at 30k miles and if it goes after warranty it would cost me more than the FSD subscription over the next few 7 years. Really tempted to trade in for a fresh truck, new battery pack, better safety, new warranty…
That's why I took advantage of the last fsd transfer.

At my Tesla Service Center today.
They were able to confirm that my Cybertruck is on a train to California. After it arrives there, it will be loaded on to a truck to WA.
So no apparent containment hold for PCS…
Also discussed the PCS issue with service.
They said that they are not seeing a big surge in failures as much an a shortage. Replacements are “trickling” in.
So, even though we are seeing more posts of failures here. Might be giving us a false impression.
Of course this is anecdotal. Just one location.
My timeline…

Ordered 2/28/26
Premium AWD
White Interior
All Terrain Tires
Terrestrial Armor
VIN: 7G2CEHED6TA0935xx
Born: 3/31/26
In production 3/31/26-4/16/26
In Transit 4/16/26-?
Still on a train to CA as of this morning
Estimated Delivery 5/3/26
Finally got the “Schedule Delivery” notification!
Scheduled first available time.
Thursday 5/7 @ 12:30
Truck will arrive at my delivery location on 5/5

Took Delivery of my Premium AWD CT, White interior, Cyber Wheels, Terrestrial Armor a few days ago (5/6/26)
Traded in my ‘24 ~9,000 VIN FS AWD
So basically the same configuration
Except I added the Terrestrial Armor which is a huge upgrade. (Plus no more broken farings!
Love it! Here’s my list of differences followed by photos supporting the list.

Differences that I have found…
1. All black rubber brake and accelerator pedals
2. All black floor center console (no stainless steel look) Looks way better/cleaner all black to me

Forgot to mention one huge change.

The wireless phone charger actually works with iPhones now (17proMax & 17pro)
Never worked in the FS CT. Even after getting an in watt replacement with the one with a heat sync…

T armor looks great but I dont want to add any more weight to this truck
Frankly, the idea of never having to replace another broken faring was enough for me. Never realized it would look so much cleaner.
