This looks like it stretches the whole length of the cap? Wow that’s quite spacious!

So serious question because I’m starting to feel this getting real…if I want this in dark blue like my cantrails and mirrors, what’s the best way to do that? Powdercoat? Wrap in ppf? Take to somebody for a spray job?
how costly would that be?

Yes, 101 inches inside. We’re playing around with a tri-fold mattress setup. Each one is 25” × 75”, and we got two

For some reason I always had a fear of rolling off the side in some of those wedge style RTT with those wide openings. Have there been any consideration of having some borders around the edge like the Camp King RTT

Thanks for sharing these early prototypes! This product is looking better each day!

So with the drawer system you have in place
Could you still comfortably sleep 4 up? Meaning two in the bed and two in the tent.
It looks like the lower mattress level is basically at l-track level. Am I interpreting what I’m seeing correctly?

Zipping up the mesh windows helps a lot, and if you pair it with an awning on the driver side and our upcoming hardshell shower awning on the passenger side, you’ve got solid coverage on both ends.

The Summer Mode open-air feel is something we carried over from our Pano tent, and once you try it you’ll get why we couldn’t leave it out😊

The front mattress section is 80” and the rear hatch covers 20”. Setup depends on your height:

Under 5’10: Leave the rear hatch open for a full loft setup. We keep 10” empty at the wedge hinge area so your feet stay clear of the shell.

5’10 to 6’2”: Close the rear hatch but leave the center cutout open. Still a loft feel, and two kids in the bed can still see through the top. We have something cool planned for that center cutout in the second prototype, stay tuned!

Over 6’2”: Close the rear hatch center cutout and pull the DECKED drawers out for max headroom. From there you can get creative with the tri-fold mattress layout in the bed!

A super creative Cybertruck owner shared a video last night while camping in his bed cap he mounted a battery powered portable monitor on the ceiling and turned it into a mini theater setup

You might consider the option of selling the tent without any mattress as some people such as myself would prefer to buy their own.

Yea we only provide the base mattress, and you can put whatever you want on top.

The tri fold is just the first one we grabbed from Amazon to test. The next one we want to try is this one.

Wow that's quite an expensive mattress you are going to try next. I have an 4 inch exped that I like. Glad you're just selling the tent with the base mattress. When are you getting that next prototype tent?
