My Time of Use Plan with the electric company makes 4pm-9pm on weekdays twice as expensive as the middle of the night. I try to turn off the home AC from 4pm-9pm but this week is unbearable and I need to work at home. Today I'm trying something different. Today, I turned off the HVAC in house, plugged my RV into my Cybertruck, and turned on the RV air conditioning. So, in effect, I'm buying electricity for the Cybertruck in the middle of the night when it's cheap and then using it in the 4pm-9pm expensive time frame. I have solar but not powerwall and no powershare, yet. The truck seems to lose about 1 mile of range every 10 minutes which is acceptable to me.

Be careful doing that regularly. You will go through your CT battery cycles. If its just a week or two out of the year, then no harm done. But if its something you will do quiet often, rethink that and maybe consider getting some Tesla Powerwalls.
