Each to their own. If you plan or use all of it, go for it.
More of a hobby/tinkering at the moment but I do plan off roading/camping in the future. Waiting on the underbody armor Tesla said would be available at the end of March. I have a $2500 voucher burning a hole in my pocket.

The Molle panel accessory mounts can be either cheap Chinesium or expensive specialty and/or hard to find.

The clamp tool holders for round handles (shovels, rakes, crowbars) need Molle nuts kit, anywhere from $24 to $40 for enough for 2 tools.

I have a Fiskars wrecking bar and Root slayer shovel I want to mount.

My Molle setup is a work in progress. Just need to turn on the motivation and spend the bucks for the real mounts.
That wrecking bar seems like a seriously deadly weapon.
love it. Would buy something like that if I didn’t have kids.

Yeah the molle panel industry is the wild west. You'd think they would standardize the hole size. The Tesla hole size is different than the shelf. Everyone is building a better mousetrap. I'm sure the mounts I'm using are cheap stuff from China but they are solid and seem durable. You'd think that quick fist would sell the mounting nuts too.

Don't inspire me to add to my obsession 🤣. I just finished my shelf and divider install this morning. I will likely store my extension cord in the locker. I just want it easily accessible and limit it getting wet. It was in my Cyber bins but they are behind the divider and I won't take them out often. I added a few hooks for my wife to hang groceries or other knick knacks when I chauffer. I have a few in the frunk as well. I also have a spare wiper as I'm concerned for it failing in a down pour and having to wait to order another one.

Thanks for sharing. I will borrow from your itemized list to keep adding.

Looks great! That truck deserves the stainless sail panels and tailgate cap we’re working on!

This has been a slow build over 6 months but I think I'm finished for now. I have a build spreadsheet uploaded to my google drive which you can view at the following link:

A few photos are with the shelf in the original location before lowering. I bought the pelican box and though there would be clearance of the tonneau cover. I was wrong so I was determined to make it work. I fabricated a way to lower the self about 2 5/8". Now the clearance is about 1". I have yet to paint or powder coat the aluminum c-channel brackets. I bought a 24" aluminum c-channel piece locally rather than on amazon.

I tried to avoid as much as possible to not block the bed lights. I drive with the tonneau cover always closed an use a LCD mirror. You can see the camera on the rear crossbar underside. The front crossbar has a Hella Black magic 50" single row light bar & a CB antenna.

Let me know what you guys think, Too much?

If you have a need for all of that stuff to be carried all the time then sure! Seems like a potentially useful collection of stuff to have around.

Looks clean, how did you attach the Molle Panel Rubber Clamp to the Molle slots?
