I think it takes away from the utility of the bed. For me, I’d put ALL the stuff hanging in display on the side mole panels in the cargo vault and call it a day. No extra pelican cargo box, no bed mat that makes it harder to access the storage area below (and bed hooks), no horizontal shelf and no spare unless off-roading.
I just don't have a need to use it like a truck hauling stuff around. Once I committed to the spare the shelf made sense. As for the bed mat (tesla brand) there are cutaways for all possible tie down hooks. I do have all them installed. Thanks for the feedback.

I'd argue about your build but I have some equivalent for most items in my kit for my Mazda.

It looks good, too! And you only overspent on things that look really good, so I guess I can't even complain about the price! None of them were egregious, for what you got; just you could've spent alot less. But it wouldn't look as finished and clean.

While I was looking at this post I thought about how the Cybertruck has drawn together such a widely diverse set of people into this forum.

We as a group represent a wide slice through the population of those who are willing and able to own a Cybertruck, from people who use it on their working farms as a utility hauler and portable electric service, to those who go "bush whacking" through the country making their own roads, to suburban families who are enjoying the most comfortable ride and most gigantic trunk they could find, to people like the OP who have transformed theirs to a meticulously organized and spotless display of preparedness, to people like me, who previously drove their sedan, sports car or truck for specific jobs, but replaced them all with a Cybertruck.

We're all over the map, but we're all connected by this incredible vehicle.

Thanks for showing us how you're enjoying and using yours, @MICyber!

Hey how do you like the textile mat? Does it fill in the grooves on the bed?

This has been a slow build over 6 months but I think I'm finished for now. I have a build spreadsheet uploaded to my google drive which you can view below:

A few photos are with the shelf in the original location before lowering. I bought the pelican box and though there would be clearance of the tonneau cover. I was wrong so I was determined to make it work. I fabricated a way to lower the self about 2 5/8". Now the clearance is about 1". I have yet to paint or powder coat the aluminum c-channel brackets. I bought a 24" aluminum c-channel piece locally rather than on amazon.

I tried to avoid as much as possible to not block the bed lights. I drive with the tonneau cover always closed an use a LCD mirror. You can see the camera on the rear crossbar underside. The front crossbar has a Hella Black magic 50" single row light bar & a CB antenna.

Updated photos: Moved the flares and machete to the shelf and added the second flashlight.

Let me know what you guys think, Too much?

Thanks! Once I had committed to the molle panels that ruled out the Tesla tent. Then I wanted a spare but that introduced wasted space above the tire. I think I'm done with the vault.
Any more 'height' and you might need a 'Pole_Vault' ‼

I like it but the mat is just flat maybe 1/4" or so. The more you walk sit on it you can see the ribs below. I was holding out for a company call bedrug to make one.

I think its slick, at the cost of the cybertruck this is a small/medium upgrade.

Rubber spacers were used to support the horizontal molle panel on the C-Channel. Added another photo to show.
