I've got similar on my Model Y.

Only two issues is that sometimes it is hard to actually see the hitch from far away. I get my wife to stand next to it or maybe get a flag to put on it.

And once you get right at it, there's a depth perception issue.

I think that Tesla has indicated that they are going to enhance this in the future.

Wow it looks a lot further away, is there an option to digitally zoom in on the hitch? Be tough to get that lined up on a cloudy day or in the dar.
Second question, did you film and back up at the same time? Nice!

Connecting a hitch with the rear camera is like cheating.

Would have been cool if the rear suspension could lower the hitch ball down under the trailer tongue for you and lift it up and engage. Then you would only need to get out of the truck once instead of twice when you forget to raise the trailer tongue up high enough in advance.

That's not quite cheating.

Cheating is when the trailer finds the truck and lowers itself on to the ball. That's cheating!

There’s no reason it shouldn’t be done..

The next step is auto hitch, but having grown up hitching without a camera, any type of camera is already 1000% better.
