Dude, you do know that every meat and cheese and egg product takes more food-grade arable land, right?

I am not a hard core greenie (I eat beef at least twice a week) but I can do simple math. It's far easier to feed you the grain that is being fed to the cows than feeding you the cows.

Unfortunately, non human-edible foods make up a tiny minority of the calories fed to livestock.

...Why are we talking about vegans? Like, it's kinda sad to kill a tree (my spouse always grumbles about it), but also, trees can be grown sustainably. We cut so many every summer to keep down the ladder fuels 'cause they can be weeds.
