When I talked with Tesla I asked if they are trying to get it delivered before the end of the quarter and they said yes.
So that’s hopeful.

I was also able to send a request to the delivery center that they do not sand the truck without contacting me first. From the pictures I’ve seen of some delivery centers sanding parts, I would prefer that they don’t sand it and I will do the Bar Keepers Friend method myself. It looks like they have used too aggressive a grit on their sanders.

You don't have to pay, the truck just has to be on site with the delivery center usually. call them and see if they can give you info about it.

Update:
Sent a text via the Tesla app asking when I can expect to take delivery. I was greeted with a congratulations. And politely told my vehicle was currently in transit. Fingers crossed that transit is using a Tesla semi. Should be here in no time. Fingers crossed.

I edited my original posting with the delivery date and the spreadsheet didn’t update. How do I update the spreadsheet with the new info?

I had a very similar experience over the phone. I tried to call my delivery location but I don’t think there is an easy or obvious way to get through to people physically there I think the local phone number still routed me to Tesla HQ. I very politely asked if there was anything I can do to take delivery faster, I’ve made final payment and provided insurance etc. they congratulated me two or three times and said they were excited too, and said they would reach out to me when the delivery location has a firm date the truck will arrive there.
