Is it just me or does there seem to be a bit of a lull in VIN assignment to least to members on here. we were seeing ViNs in the 10,000 range getting assigned a week or two ago so we should be seeing production in the 11 and 12,000 range right now but I haven’t seen any of those getting assigned

It's odd, but I think we saw a burst of activity after Tesla fixed the accelerator issue and made it seem like there was a ramp. As you can see, there are still a ton of December orders unfulfilled and it's already early May. I think the 1,000 a week milestone might not have been sustainable or they hit another ramp issue. (Or it could be a delivery bottleneck, but I would think the flyovers would clue us in on that.)

I checked the app for a VIN a few hours ago and nothing. Saw the thread about a new gray interior and decided to take a look and consider changing to gray. Boom a VIN.

I texted the SC this morning and they said mine was in Cleveland, few hours away and I could go pick it up. No trade in, so not really an option. 30 minutes later I got a delivery text and I just schedule delivery scheduled for 5/8.

Being a 7200, I wonder if a customer declined delivery because of an issue(s) or personal issue(s). Basically is the CT broke or is the person broke.

Don’t hold your breath for June. If you have not ordered already there is pretty much no chance you’ll take delivery in June unless maybe you live in Austin or nearby.

I put off ordering because I don't want to take delivery before our planned July move.

Bu if I order new options now the delivery may get pushed a couple of months ! That makes it complicated as I was planning to sell the car here rather than ship it and sell there.

I have also observed this since last Friday. Things seem to be picking up today though.

After scheduling they then said I can't do tomorrow because it's in Cleveland and awaiting transport. 1-2 weeks they said. I doubt I can find 5 hours round trip this weekend, but my wife may have to try.
