I’m about to drop my CT off for a Black Satin wrap but am undecided if I should do the PPF or just keep it to the Vinyl 3M.

I’ve seen posts of both cars, but want to know from those that know better if the PPF is worth doing on the CT given the body structure being dent and scratch resistant already. I’ve been told PPF is a waste of money but would like feedback from others to hopefully provide clarity and guidance on the best type of wrap if I want to do satin black.

I went with vinyl then satin PPF on top layer.

PPF won't prevent dents, but the product I have is very hydrophylic and slick. Bugs have much harder time to stick and future scratches (within reason) are self-healing via heat gun.

Yes it's more money, but it will last longer than regular vinyl.

Your mileage may vary.

I'm a big fan of Satin Black from Avery with a coat of Jet Seal from Chemical Guys. Are you in LA, OC area? Happy to show you physical samples.

Just picked up my CT from StickerCity in Van Nuys, CA. Dean and his team did an amazing job. The car came out incredible. This is Satin Black PPF and I am getting so much positive feedback from people when they see the wrap. Absolutely the best in the business when it comes to PPF and car wraps. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
