Does anyone know what happens next when you decline the Qmerit quote? I have the $4000 install credit but I realize that I plan to get solar and Powerwall in the near future. Doesn’t make sense to me to have Powershare and Powerwall. Seems counterintuitive. My out of pocket cost would have been $3500.

Powershare installations are a massive ripoff, plenty of threads on here sharing insane prices. I went with a 50 amp generator inlet and can (and have) powered my house from the 240v out in the bed for about 20% the cost of a Qmerit Powershare install AND I still have my $2,500 credit.

As to when it shows up, that depends on when you purchased the CT. For early purchasers, it took a few months. Then by early summer it would take a few weeks, but you had to fill out the survey first. Then Tesla was issuing codes a few days post-delivery. In all of these cases it was a one-time use code for the Tesla Shop sent to your email account (check spam).

Finally, the latest info is that Tesla is adding a $2,500 Shop credit, can be spread across multiple purchases, within days of delivery for more recent FS deliveries. So the answer to your 'when' question really depends on when you purchased the truck.

Did anyone not try to buy a vehicle between 2020-2023 and maybe even now with the dealer markups? Foundation series is not that bad at all. Lol. Screw those dealers charging a minimum $5,000 on nothing. On RAV4s and crap.
