I currently own Three 2024 FS Cyberbeasts, my biggest pet peeve is the pudding os water around the rear license plate. I did however, buy a stainless steel license plate frame from Etsy saying Cyberbeast. But they are currently getting fogged with water that sits there.. I find that a leaf blower removes the water very quickly. And then I’m off to the car wash and then I actually vacuum the plate area seeing the attached video.. I’m eagerly looking to put two or three 1/8 inch holes through the vinyl plastic rear bumper cover, behind the license plate frame. Hopefully this will alleviate any puddling further.. has anyone else tried this yet?? The video is too large. I can’t upload it.. also some people say going through a car wash will avoid the warranty, I have not found this to be the case with my cyber beast and I do have two light bars installed on them.

Trying to post the Carwash video, i’m currently watching a T sport line Tesla, cyber truck upgraded with CTX extreme duty rear bumper with tow hooks and he just mentioned that they put holes behind the license plate so that water will drain

I run my AWD through a carwash weekly. No issues so far other than the occasional mirror fold during the wash. I use their compressed air nozzles to blast away any residual water on the body and bumper after each wash.

Also I wonder where you found the Etsy Cyberbeast frame :p

. also some people say going through a car wash will avoid the warranty,
Tesla haters will say anything they think will dissuade people from buying a Tesla.

Just think about the logic of claiming a vehicle like Cybertruck, that comes with a special "Car Wash Mode" in the menu system, would have the warranty voided by going through a car wash.

Just ridiculous.

Tesla will not void your warranty for using an automatic car wash, but the manual recommends against it and if there is damage from the car wash, Tesla isn't covering it. The most common have been the rainbow effect on the S3XY models and damaged cameras. No one should expect Tesla to repair those things if the car wash causes it.

Wait...Do you mean if an automatic car wash rips the antenna out of the front quarter panel it's not a manufacturing defect? I decided to find out if "Built Ford Tough" was good enough to handle a car wash:

Is the thin tear-prone bodywork a manufacturing defect (or is the Ford Tough" advertising just a "promise" that Ford doesn't keep)? I hear a lot of people saying Elon never keeps his promises, very few throw shade on Ford and GM this way. Why the double standard?

It's not just Ford's problem, any vehicle with thin, soft, weak bodywork and soft, fragile paint is at risk of expensive damage in a car wash:

Toyota Tacoma car wash damage:

I could post 100 more but I think this illustrates pretty well that the problem is not the Cybertruck, it's all the flimsy vehicles out there. How many of these do you think were repaired under warranty?

Why do people still try to create the narrative that the Cybertruck is not tough enough for a car wash and that Tesla won't cover it? Of course the latter is true, and the former could be true on any vehicle (but much less likely on a Cybertruck).

Because the Cybertruck is FAR tougher than any vehicle out there. I'm surprised there are still people on this forum that don't seem to understand that.

Modern cars/trucks should not have antenas sticking out like that, just wondering.
