What concept cars would you skip CT for?

There is absolutely none!

No concept car even comes close to clicking off all the boxes for me that the Cybertruck does. For one, concept cars seem like they were designed for WOW factor, and not reality. The Cybertruck was the opposite in that it seemed to be designed for function, and not around what it looked like. But I will say, that original SS bed is beautiful. (but I highly doubt Tesla ever thought they could build the CT with that bed for the prices they suggested).

Actually, now that I think more about this. The concept ID-Buzz comes in a close second to the Cybertruck. But, Elon boasting about the prices of the Cybertruck had me hooked. I do believe that a large percentage of the $100 reservations that people made, were based on those prices. I'm in that camp.

It's hard to believe that VW showed the ID Buzz 5 years ago, and just sat on it! 5 years later it sure feels like VW lied and played us all.

Only thing I would choose over a CT, is another even more advanced Tesla vehicle.

I'm never ever going back to establishment legacy auto, where every purchase pays not for innovation or sustainability, but rather lines the pockets of those in dealer networks, the UAW, and the MSM, who are the last people on Earth I would ever want revenue of my purchase going to.

It’s funny because I was thinking of the ID.Buzz too. If they released the concept and it had 350 miles range, it would be a super tempting alternative.

I don’t need a truck so much as a great way to move people and bikes. The Buzz would check all those boxes.

Also more realistic than the Ram Concept truck.
Realism is overrated. My understanding is that “real” is local and mostly a reconstruction by our brains. So everything we are talking about is a different degree of unreal even the cars in our driveways. Isn’t the reason Tesla got so big basically refusing to be limited by other people’s reality? Let’s just enjoy people’s imaginations and ideas and let engineers and CEOs worry about how real it will be. That said, it is fun to talk about why something wouldn’t work and others would.

Don’t give up on it. I am sure you can get what you want out of the US version with a bucket of paint and a few tools.

Regardless of how feasible it is for production, and what classification it fits, what have you seen that you would choose over CT if it was real? An Audi may be?

I wonder if they are talking to apple for the headset.

Not one of them has the features I expect and want from the Cybertruck...rust and dent resistant stainless steel, cargo hauling capable, with Tesla charging and the potential for FSD.
