If you use an obd power adapter on our trucks what voltage do you expect to see? 48v? Or 12v ish (around 15 I’m guessing)?
Up to 5 amps I’m assuming. So around 60w maximum draw correct?

I wouldn't risk using such a port to power anything other than diagnostic equipment.

What’s the concern there? Was thinking just a 2 pin adapter. .Is that likely to precipitate error codes and such?

Is there another port location other than the left of dash?

So, the magnetic phone charger that plugs into the ODB port would not be a good idea? I was considering getting one since my phone gets too hot in the wireless charger.
correct, not a good idea. just spend the time and carefully route a long USB-C cable from one of your ports.

Fair. The main reason I want it is a 24/7 low wattage supply for an always on device.
I guess there are other ways to do that now with the “leave aux power on” software update.

My magbak chargers on the driver and passenger side of the screen previously went along the side of the center footwell to the back seat usb-c ports but now plug into an anker multi-usb-c charger which runs off the ac plug. The advantage is you can use as many as you want and get full power PD ports that are not split somehow.
Can charge as fast as your charger and phone or whatever else will allow.

It's best not to have output terminals higher than 20W. I have tried expanding wireless charging, which is around 14W and has not been a problem, but I really don't recommend it

Also wondering the same, I just got the twraps charger and it’s been working fine but now I’m seeing this and sort of concerned.

I've had the obd to USB c plugged in for about a month now. No issues at the moment but not sure if it would do anything in the long run. Sent the vehicle in twice for service and no comments or feedback from the service team so far.
