I love how the ramp folds in thirds to be able to fit in the sub-trunk/bed...but at $400...for one?! I want one but can't justify that price.

As for what to spend the credits on, I think it all depends on what you intend to do with the truck.

agreed esp since there are products like this out there:

https://readyramp.com/products/read...-bed-extender-ramp-black-100-open-60-on-truck

the tailgate pad to get the jumpseats is a similar price to the tesla uni-tasker ramp, right?

Follow up, I watched that video and read some online reviews. Looks like i would need a couple or something but I'm thinking I don't want to risk it on the super expensive cooler lol

For sure. Just thought it was interesting. I’d probably do it on one of the eBay knockoffs not the Tesla one if I were gonna attempt

Yes. That is definitely an interesting upcoming release. I spent mine on a cybertent but I’m very curious about the armor.

You happy with the cyber tent?
Very. I love that thing. It gets a ton of flack from people with racks but it achieves some things none of the competition does. Specifically, it doesn’t mess with the design and aerodynamics of the car AT ALL.
I also have a Coody Koala 7 ground tent I use for camping with the whole family and that has its own advantages like being able to drive away from your camp, but the cybertent feels very special when you set it up and if it’s just me and my wife, absolutely it’s the best choice. Also my first choice for dispersed camping where you really prefer to be off the ground.
I do use a powered SUP pump for both it and the koala which makes the experience nicer.
In my opinion, the cybertent is kind of the ultimate Tesla shop accessory for our truck because of all the early marketing and also the only thing in there that MAY have resale value if you let it go with your truck.

I'm so intrigued by it but I probably would use it once or twice a year lol.

Do you leave it installed in the bed 100% of the time or do you remove it when you know you won't use it for a while? I know it's pretty heavy to constantly install/uninstall but think it's manageable.

Thanks, for the great pics!!

It’s pretty manageable if you ask me. I just back it in the garage, take out two screws and lift it out. Even easier if my wife helps. It’s the base for my pile of camping stuff.
Guess it kind of depends what you do with your bed. If it’s mostly just for shopping and occasionally hauling home Home Depot stuff, you can leave it in.
I just think it’s one of the things that makes the CT so unique.
Name another vehicle that has that kind of camping integration.
And, don’t be fooled, I have a very bougie wife and kids. 2-3 times a year is the extent of my use too.
But I’ve easily saved the cost of the tent in hotel rooms thus far and besides, I bought it with my FS credit. If I didn’t get that, what would I have instead? Some more Tupperware? Or a glorified powerwheel for the kids?
I can tell you this, when I show off the truck, it’s usually the item that gets the most oohs and ahhs. Make of that what you will.

Jumping on the Cybertent sub-thread: I leave mine in the truck during camping season. That said, I only got the Cybertent in April and the Cybertruck in June. Third camping trip with it this coming weekend. Very easy/quick to setup/take down and comfortable.

My other use case would be: 2 adults + 2 English Labs (60 pounds and 74 pounds). I think the Cybertent would be too tight for all of us.

That’s true but not a bunk type setup. Two adults in the tent and a dog bed or vault mattress in the vault directly beneath you. The tailgate is open anyway. All you need is a tailgate size mesh to keep them in if that is concern. I hang one there using strong magnets on the outside of the rear “fins” (think Cadillac) sometimes. That same net doubles for cargo securement.
Put some chew toys and rawhides in there and they will be super happy. They can smell you and hear you right above them.
My Ecoflow wave 2 AC sits in there when using the cybertent plugged into the vault and I run the pipe up into the tent. That makes the top “bunk” extra comfy.
It’s a very nice setup.
Keeps scratchy paws out of the tent and everyone is happy.
Incidentally this also allows your dogs to see and be seen outside which allows them to be guard dogs if that’s who they are.
Why have you given this an oddly immense amount of thought you might ask? Because my wife had the same concern. We had two very old dogs until very recently and we never left them.
