If they follow the Model 3 launch process you will have all the time you desire. With Model 3 they only launched RWD initially so you could select AWD and get put in the holding pen. Anytime you changed back to RWD you went straight to front of line. I delayed my Model 3 this way for three months so we could take delivery of our first model 3 and see how we liked it.
