I think you're saying that Cybertrucks that receive the FSD upgrade will only have adaptive cruise control and FSD, but not the lane keeping thing that other Teslas have. Do I have that right?
Correct. There is no lane keeping option on the CT. Only choices are full FSD or adaptive cruise control.

I submitted a ticket for missing functionality on my 2-3 wk old CT. Tech closed it (of course) and said wait 30-60 days for an initial update that may or may not include FSD. I paid for FSD in full with purchase. They wouldn’t be allowed to collect it until delivered. They don’t specifically mention this at purchase tho.

Unless something has changed since NFS has released you were given a notice about certain features not being available on delivery. You had to sign the notice.

Well, there’s that but the other problem that these folks are having is that they are on factory build software ending in “.100.”

Nothing, will happen until their software is updated to some branch of live FSD. Getting off of the factory build on the Cybertruck has been and still is taking longer than it does typically with Teslas.

I experienced the exact same delay when I took delivery back in July. In every other Tesla vehicle I’ve ever purchased a total of five of them I’m usually off of the factory build within a couple of hours. I had to wait three weeks similar to where these folks are. There’s really nothing you can do about it.

Once you’re off of the factory build, you will have FSD if you bought it, we’re on a trial or if you subscribe. The moment that your first normal branch install is complete; you’ll be good to go. Not one second before that, though.

When? Total black box!

Pretty sure it did not explicitly state pay for FSD now and get it whenever we decide to give it. Could be wrong tho. Thought it was something more ambiguous.

If you're not on software version 2024.32.20.1 or 2024.33.15 then you don't have FSD available on the truck. No amount of visits to the SC will help that. Hate to say it, but you'll just have to be patient and wait for the update. That's the solution.

Please pass on how long you had to wait to get it. I'm sure others will want to know. I've seen times ranging a week to past a month.
Thank you very much for the information. We currently have on our truck 2024.32.100.1 if that makes any sense it was my understanding when the new trucks come out that the software would already be on the truck that is the FSD version Apparently not thanks again.

Sure, no problem. No, that's not an FSD version. You'd think it would ship with it, but for some reason they don't.

FYI there's a new FSD inbound. Now updating to software 2024.39.5 and FSD version 12.5.5.3.

My FSD is also not working in my new Cybertruck AWD.

I received a free trial alert from Tesla, and I also purchased the monthly subscription.

My software is version 2024.32.100.1

The FSD option is grayed out, and there is a note "will be available in an upcoming software release"

Also I do not have any lane-keeping capability, the only option I have is "Traffic-Aware Cruise Control"
in the same exact place..

Prob shouldn’t give Tesla any money for FSD until they first deliver it to your car.

Dropping by to say that I picked up a non-foundation series back on 11/6 and I too have not receipted the software update for FSD/auto pilot.

I too have the 30 day free trial for FSD which I’ll just call to say that I never truly had FSD so maybe they can honour it and give me another 30 days once I do have the FSD software update.

this is my first ever Tesla. I’m coming over from Mercedes and BMW so it’s a whole new world and a change when it comes to customer service. However I’m still happy and excited to finally be inside of the Cybertruck.

WITH THAT BEING SAID.

lane departure alert and all that basic cruise control feature should have been a standard cruise control feature IMO.

im on the road constantly on the highway for 1-2 hours each way… daily… it would be nice to have’

Mr. pilot. Well welcome to the Tesla family. I’m working on my second model three I had a 2019 now I’ve got a 2024 and also a new cyber truck. Being a Tesla owner is very taxing. The car is fantastic. The cyber truck is an experience but overall their service absolutely sucks. It makes you want to go pull your hair out and beat your head against the wall. What the irritating thing is is you never get a response. But hang in there the experience is Worth the aggravation.

Mr. pilot. Well welcome to the Tesla family. I’m on my third Tesla. I’ve had two model three and now a cyber truck. The new 2024 model three is a big step up from my 2019 model. But the cyber truck is a whole New beast. The problem with the FSD, not being downloaded on the truck takes away from the new owner experience.. But that is to be expected Tesla Service absolutely sucks. Unbelievable. You can leave messages until your hair falls out and you never get a response. The overall owning experience of a Tesla is for the most part worth the extraordinary difficulty getting Service. I have FSD on my 24 model three and it is worth it. There is one thing the auto pilot or cruiser whatever they call it on the cyber truck is very much to be lacking. I don’t use it. Good luck and hang in there.

Joining in the discussion. I picked up my non-foundation CT on 11/20 and no FSD either. Says I have trial period access until 12/20, but it says will be available upon firmware update. My current SW is v12 ⁦(2024.32.100.1 352b77508820)⁩.

Also, did anyone have a “plastic grinding) sound coming from the steering wheel column, when turning left? Scheduled a service appointment in December.
