I may have not worded the title correctly but the issue is not a big one whenever I get in my car after a few minutes of inactivity I find that it has navigated to a supercharger or some weird place that I hadn't entered myself. It has nothing to do with how much charge is on the vehicle as it happened right after I brought it to 80% at home and it showed me a route to a supercharger or some obscure place and all the supercharger stops on the way.

I mine, it always automatically navigates to either work or home if it's about the same time of the day for that kind of trip. If I leave work early, or go on a weekend when it's not typical, it doesn't navigate there automatically. I wonder if you somehow ended up making a supercharger your "home" or "work" in the Nav system.

Plus one on that.
My wife says the truck knows where we are going before we do!
By day of week and time of day it just puts in a destination based on previous events. If I open the door of the truck at three or four am it puts a destination in over a hundred miles away. If door is opened at 7 or at it puts office in on weekdays. Friday nights it guesses on previous restaurants and it gets creepy.

Or, the “work” location is 1000 miles away and it’s planning to charge for a long trip ?

I’ll start my diet when it takes me to the gym. I do cruise around with no destination set and just let it go while waiting for uber trips lol.

You probably have it set to start in FSD, and you may have set the destination SOC high enough that when you start your drive you are close to that threshold so it automatically looks for a charger.

ALSO- know that if you gave it access to your phone and calendar, it may auto-navigate to the next appointment. Doesn’t answer the supercharger question, but may help with the ‘knows where we’re going before we do’ lol.

  • Disable Automatic Navigation:
    • Go to Settings > Navigation > Automatic Navigation on your vehicle’s touchscreen and turn it off. This prevents the car from predicting destinations based on routine or calendar data. If the issue stops, this was likely the cause.

  • Check and Clear Saved Destinations:
    • Verify your Home and Work addresses in the navigation system. If a distant or incorrect address is set (e.g., a Supercharger or random location), remove or update it.
    • Clear recent destinations by navigating to the Navigation menu and deleting any unexpected entries, especially Superchargers or obscure places not in your typical routes.

  • Disable Calendar Integration:
    • If you’ve linked a calendar to your Tesla, disable it temporarily to rule out erroneous event-based navigation. Go to Settings > Calendar and unlink or clear calendar data.

There is an optionin FSD to allow access to your calenda. If you have an appointment set with addres, it will navigate to appointment. If I was a sales person, I guess I could see this as a good option.

I think that cleared it up for me as my home is in Pennsylvania I set my work as someplace in Florida cuz that's where we are during the winter so I turned off automatic navigation which should solve it. None of the destinations lined up with anything to do in my calendar but I'm pretty sure we got it now thank you
