Being that the big logo graphic on the back of the guys CT is the same as his YT handle I think it's safe to say he is the actual owner reporting actual real problems. ?
I’m not so sure. Read his IG and it sure seems the emphasis is on the number of views his complaints have created. Video has over 3 million views. Yeah he loves Tesla.

So the max hold is just short of 60 days?

That's not allot of time. I'm also I'm the same boat as I see more and more reviews with owners having serious issues such as not accepting a charge, electrical issues.

Im not worried about any recalls, I expect them as they affect all the issues will be fixed and continued to improve. Im mostly worried about the 1 offs randoms as it seams hit or miss to get a well built CT or a lemon. Owners are either saying they have no issue or they are reporting owners endless
issues causing the CT to spend most of its time in the shop.
It's interesting, but I really haven't had any issues with mine. I was so worried, but seriously, I think they are solid trucks. It’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I'm glad I went through with it. The only real negatives are the hype and the fake FUD. Tesla owners know better because all our non-Tesla friends send us news asking if our car is going to blow up, run off the road, or get recalled. I've owned three Teslas and never had a problem with any of them. Any issue I had was fixed by the mobile service in under an hour while I was sitting in my office, after they drove to my car to fix it. I think the biggest issues with being an early adopter are the instant celebrity status and polarizing questions or opinions you get from strangers everywhere you go.

I’ve seriously had people follow me to my home or friends house and walk up to me in my driveway or garage while I’m getting my kids out of my car and start interviewing me and my car. I now look for people tailing on my way home so they don’t know where I live. It’s crazy!

Another reason not to own one of these things...

Perfect example. We don’t know what the issues were or whether it was really this guys truck in the service bay. Could be a db who spotted a ct and decided to post for likes.
It's got his channel name on the truck. He has multiple videos of the truck.

The thing is, you're not going to hear from those without problems. You won't find their youtube videos elevated. So it's observation bias.

Well....that's a load of BS. We've been inundated with Elon's press of influencers touting their exclusive access to God's gift to trucks. The reality is just now overwhelming the myths that were spread. This thing is an expensive hunk of experimental garbage. Thanks Elon!

Influencers?

What do you think, Tesla pays people to buy their trucks, attend their events, etc?

Sound reasoning. This is one reason I opted for the Beast - it will give them a year to sort out some of the early issues before my number comes up. Also, the hype will hopefully have died down a bit and it will just be another Tesla by then.
Hype will never die down.

Yep wait, you can get a used M3 for $20k with the $4k tax credit, or a MY for $30k, the CT will always be there. BLUF: these two vehicles were $60k to $80k when demand was high, so prices do drop in time. LOL!

Trucks make up something like 3x the next vehicle type in sales in the U.S. and Tesla has many factories making the 3 and Y with huge volume production. And Tesla is learning a big lesson right now with over production and economic swings. I don’t personally see why they would be eager to ramp up production to drop the price if they are easily getting the $100k+ they want for now. With trucks being such a huge market, I have always been surprised that Tesla didn’t try harder to compete with main stream trucks like the F150. I hope they do really ramp to 5k units per week and drop the price below $80k but I think that’s like really late 2025 or 2026 at best unfortunately. Probably be over 100,000 FS series on the road by then

I mean I get this response. I was finally able to get to the reserve a VIN stage and passed for now for many of the same reasons.

1) There have been build issues despite loads of people having good experiences.
2)The price is pretty much double for FS CT than what was expected when launched. The 20k markup for features that don't exist yet like Autopilot and FSD hurts.
3)The software until very recently was missing basic features like the lockers etc
4)It doesn't have any better range than the other electric trucks on the road.

So other than the charging network small advantage the Elon decided to kill essentially by firing everyone then trying to 180 a bit later...

I got a 2022 lightning, which I love. Like mentioned much bigger frunk that has power in it. Very comfortable. It is stealth... most people just think it is an F-150 so not all the crazy attention which for an introvert is good. I'll wait until CT is more ubiquitous and the hype dies down.

I'm hoping for better pricing, an actual 500 miles of range as I need to tow with my truck and can't get up the mountain with any of the current options.

I may actually have to get the Chevy... as other than crappy software and GM build quality, at least it goes 450 miles, has the pass through everyone was hoping for in the CT, 4 wheel steer etc. No FSD but that remains a work in progress.
